Common Ground Courses Database
Welcome to the Common Ground website! Through the collaboration of CSUEB faculty, and staff, this website will share resources available on campus related to diversity.
The first phase of Common Ground is a complete course database which allows searches based on a number of criteria:
- General Education (GE): Describes the GE area the course fulfills.
- Cultural Groups and Women (CGW): Fulfills the Cultural Groups and Women course requirement.
- Multicultural: Contains reference to race, equity, ethnicity; a culture attributed to the U.S.
- International: Contains reference to global, world, or any country outside of the U.S.
- Culture: Contains reference to “culture” in the course description without a reference to ethnicity.
- Gender: Contains reference to male or female, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
For example, to find undergraduate courses in Communication with a multicultural and international focus, select:
- Course Level: Undergraduate
- Department: COMM
- Multicultural:
- International:
