WASC Accreditation

Cal State East Bay has been continuously accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities, since 1961. The last WASC visits in 2005 and 2007 resulted in reaffirmation of accreditation. The documents relevant to that earlier self-study and site visits can be found at our WASC Archive site.

We are currently gathering data and information for a self-study report due in spring 2014, an off-campus review in fall 2014, and a final on site visit in spring 2015. With the WASC Steering Committee at the center, we have distributed the responsibility for our self-study among five committees.
