Diana Warren

Program Director

Miss Warren is a fifth generation Californian and lifelong Oakland resident. She is dedicated to serving the interests of youth in the California State University, East Bay Upward Bound Program and other East Bay communities. Miss Warren has an "open door" policy and loves to talk to people about travel, sports, music, movies, and good books, especially thrillers. Miss Warren is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating Program activities and services.

Melissa Padilla

Program Advisor

Mss Padilla is a positive person who is passionate about serving students, parents, and the commmunity. She serves as the advisor for the tudents who attend Hayward, Tennyson, and Mt. Eden high schools. Miss Padilla provides academic advising, career and college exploration, financial aid assistance, and personal advising for her students. She is motivated by the energy and strength in her students and she is proud to be and advocate for them.

Alejandro Peña

Assistant Director

Mr. Peña is a caring person who enjoys assisting students and parents. He serves as the advisor for the UB students who attend James Logan and San Lorenzo high schools, providing academic advising, career counseling, financial planning, and personal advising. Additionally, Mr. Pena facilitates a senior seminar class and conducts orientations and workshops dealing with college information and educational planning.
