Standby/Walk In Instructions for EPT/ELM

Late Arrivals Will Not Be Admitted After Testing Begins

We admit Walk In/Standbys on a first-come, first-served basis and only if there are enough seats, materials, and staff remaining after admission of all registered students. All Walk-In/Standbys are required to pay by check or money order on the day of the test. If you paid for another test date you can contact ETS to see if you qualify for a refund.

Start Time:

Hayward Campus - EPT/ELM Combined
Start time: 8:30 AM.
Arrive 30 minutes before start time.
Report to: North Science Building, 1st Floor

Hayward Campus - EPT only
Start time: 8:30 AM.
Arrive 30 minutes before start time.
Report to: North Science Building, 1st Floor

Hayward Campus - ELM only
Start time: 8:30 AM.
Arrive 30 minutes before start time.
Report to: North Science Building, 1st Floor

Student Charges:

EPT only - $18.00

ELM only - $18.00

Both EPT/ELM - $36.00

Bring:

• A Photo ID
• Your social security number, card not required.
• Check or Money Order only, payable to "Educational Testing Service" (No Cash and No Debit or Credit Cards)
  Please see above for Student Charges depending on the number of tests you are taking. Make sure that the check is signed and your name appears on the memo of the check if you are not the one issuing the check.

"Standby" students are students that have registered to take their EPT/ELM test at another CSU, have registered on the ETS website and have their printed admission ticket.
