Skillport

Skillport is a content management system for Skillsoft that provides access to a wealth of engaging online eLearning courses, books, and videos.
To login and get started, visit the Skillport site:
https://ds.calstate.edu/?svc=skillsoft

  • Select “East Bay” from the drop-down menu. Click the “Login” button.

  • Enter your NetID and NetID password in the spaces provided. Click the “Login” button.

  • You can now get started by clicking on the Catalog link on the left side to search for a specific course or topic.

  • If you have specific mandatory or pre-arranged courses assigned to you, click on the “My Plan” link on the left sidebar, then click on the folder labeled “Assigned.”

GoogleApps Workshop
What:  If you have already attended GoogleApps training and need help with a specific area in Gmail, Calendar, or Drive. Although registration is requested, you may drop in any time during the workshop period.

Google Email
What: A hands-on session covering the following topics - conversation mode, signature, vacation/out of office message, markers, labels, etc.

Google Calendar
What: A hands-on session covering the following topics - create an event/meeting, view availability of invitees and resources, change an event series, view co-worker's calendars, etc.

Google Drive
What: A hands-on session covering the following topics - view documents from Email and Drive, My Drive vs. Shared with Me, upload/download to Drive, create a sub-folder, share a document, etc.

ServiceNow Overview and Workshops for End Users

ServiceNow Workshop for Endusers and Agents
What:  End Users can get assistance in entering tickets, understanding the Service Catalog, and personalizing there Portal View.  Agents (staff members who are assigned tickets in Service Now) can get assistance with handling Incidents and Service Requests. You can drop by any time during the workshop hours.
