Project IMPACT – Computer Lab
Project IMPACT is proud to offer all university students access to its Assistive Technology Computer Lab and study areas. Due to the generosity and significant investment by California State University, East Bay, an unique computer lab containing the latest technologies on the market is at your fingertips. Besides software and hardware found in all other computer labs across the university campus, such as the Microsoft Office Suite® and high-speed internet, this specialized lab also is fully outfitted on every computer with the following software:
- JAWS®
- Kurzweil 3000®
- Zoomtext®
- Inspiration®
- Dragon Naturally Speaking®
Additional assistive technology devices, such as modified keyboards and mice, are available upon request.
The Assistive Technology Computer Lab is open to everyone in the campus community, but priority is given to Project IMPACT and its participants during peak periods of demand when the university is in session. The hours of operation, except during official campus closures and weekends, are:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
