Volunteer Team Leaders

Volunteer Team Leaders (VTL) are trained to respond to emergency situations and are an important aspect of the CSUEB's emergency response capabilities.  Areas of specialized training include: fire extinguisher, building evacuation procedures, radio communications, and evacuation chair training.  VTLs also have the opportunity to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED. 

Responsibilities of the VTLS are:

  1. Assist with Building Evacuations
  2. Manage crowd
  3. Direct evacuees to their Assembly Areas
  4. Assist as directed in other emergency response activities
