Volunteer Team Leaders
Volunteer Team Leaders (VTL) are trained to respond to emergency situations and are an important aspect of the CSUEB's emergency response capabilities. Areas of specialized training include: fire extinguisher, building evacuation procedures, radio communications, and evacuation chair training. VTLs also have the opportunity to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED.
Responsibilities of the VTLS are:
- Assist with Building Evacuations
- Manage crowd
- Direct evacuees to their Assembly Areas
- Assist as directed in other emergency response activities
