Student Service Officers

Student Service Officers are student employees who provide a wide variety of services to not only the University Police Department, but to the University as a whole. Their duties include, but are not limited to, safety escorts services, staffing the University Information Booth, providing clerical support to Police Officers and Police Dispatchers, perform building security checks, safety and security surveys of campus lighting and campus phones, and parking enforcement services. Their versatility, ability, and willingness to learn and accept new responsibilities, makes them truly one of our most valuable assets.
