News Worth Sharing
Archie Gilbert, one of Cal State East Bay’s most prolific hitters and base stealers, has celebrated a third successful season in minor league baseball. Gilbert is a member of the Midland Rockhounds – the 2009 Texas League championship winners – and played last year for the Stockton Ports, the California league champions. Archie Gilbert is a rising star and a Pioneer to watch. He even has his own bobblehead!
