Department Admissions Process

Updated on April 30, 2013

This page is dedicated to providing information related to the department admissions process for credential programs and master's degrees within the College of Education and Allied Studies. The admissions process varies by credential program. Please remember that although some credential programs require a department application, all programs require submission of a university application. Other reminders:

Credential Information Sessions

The Credential Information Session are informational evenings whereby you can obtain program information and admissions overview for earning a Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential including BCLAD and TEDSPED routes. Prospective Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential Applicants are invited, but not required, to attend these sessions. It is best to attend a session in the year in which you plan to apply to the program since requirements may change from year-to-year. Other credential programs offer separate program orientation sessions for prospective students. Check with the department about their upcoming dates.
