This page is dedicated to highlighting credential candidates, present and past, who extend their professional preparation to make a world of difference in the education field. We also want to feature any staff or faculty who are part of our CSUEB team that support the success of our candidates.

Laty Johnson, CSSC Director

The most exciting part of my job is being able to work with all the different individuals involved in the professional preparation of educators. I am thrilled to be working at Cal State East Bay because we are in the heart of the Bay and offer an array of credential programs to serve all types of educators, and we do it well. It is my hope that all of our candidates feel well-supported by our office and well-prepared by our programs. We look forward to remaining in touch with all of our graduates.

Erika Milburn, CSSC Staff

Greetings! My name is Erika Milburn. I am the Administrative Support Assistant II in the Credential Student Service Center. I am from Fresno, California. I am a recent graduate of California State University, East Bay and I am extremely happy to be finished with school for now. The Credential Student Service Center has opened my eyes to the process, hard work and patience it takes to become a teacher. I enjoy seeing future teachers that genuinely love working with children. It is very important to nurture and encourage our future generation to do their best and I am pleased that I can help in the credentialing process for the students in our program.

We want to hear from you
