The mission of the Department of Educational Psychology is to prepare a diverse population of students as professional counselors, psychologists, special education specialists, and researchers for effective and innovative work in a variety of settings, including schools, agencies, hospitals, and industry.

Fall 2012 admissions is now open!
Department application period for Marriage and Family Therapy Program and Clinical Child School Psychology and School Counseling Program for Fall 2012 opened on October 5, 2011.
The Clinical Child/School Psychology & School Counseling deadlines are as follows:
First-round deadline November 15, 2011
Second-round deadline February 1, 2012
Third-round deadline March 1, 2012
Fourth-round deadline April 15, 2012
MFT Application priority deadline March 1, 2012
Applications for MS in Counseling, options in School Counseling/MFT, School Psychology/MFT, and MFT only has been extended to
June 30, 2012 or until space is filled, which ever is sooner. ![]()
Please note applicants must also apply simultaneously to the University following University application deadlines. Applications and materials will continue to be accepted until June 30, 2012 (the university deadlines as posted online).
