The mission of the Department of Educational Psychology is to prepare a diverse population of students as professional counselors, psychologists, special education specialists, and researchers for effective and innovative work in a variety of settings, including schools, agencies, hospitals, and industry.

Counseling Programs
Fall 2013 admissions is now full and closed!
Department application period for Marriage and Family Therapy Program, Clinical Child School Psychology, and School Counseling Program for Fall 2013 is open as of October 8, 2012 through June 30, 2013 (rolling admissions).
The Clinical Child/School Psychology, School Counseling, and MFT only option deadlines are as follows:
First-round deadline November 15, 2012
Second-round deadline February 1, 2013
Third-round deadline March 1, 2013
These programs have an "rolling admission" policy. Applications are reviewed when they are received and select interviews are scheduled throughout the application period. Not all applicants will receive an interview. We admit qualified applicants on a first come, first served basis. We can only admit a pre-determined number of qualified applicants to our Fall 2013 entry cohorts. If there are no spaces available when you apply, then you will be notified that you are in "stand by" status. You will only be concidered for admission if a previously-admitted applicant drops out.
