The Department of Kinesiology has two great facilities to help you meet your fitness goals!
The Department of Kinesiology operates two six-lane, heated, chlorine swimming pools for public use. The pool is located outside the Physical Education building and is open for public swim Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (except summer, see below). The cost for all users is $5 per day, and daily passes may be paid in cash on the pool deck. Monthly, 10-Swim, and Annual passes may be paid for (cash or check only) in the Cashier's Office in the Student Services and Administration (SA) building. Then bring the receipt to the Department of Kinesiology office (PE 130) to get your pass.

The Fitness Center is an updated facility housed in room 202 of the Physical Education building. The center has ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes, various Cybex weight machines, free weights/dumbbell area with benches, stability balls, medicine balls, and a large stretching mat. H2Orange2, a sanitizer/virucide, is provided to wipe down equipment, and patrons may borrow towels to use during their workout. A drinking fountain and radio are available for your convenience.
The Fitness Center is only open to students, staff, faculty, and alumni. The Fitness Center usually opens the first full week of classes and closes on the Wednesday of Finals Week. This may vary in the summer. Please note that Fitness Center members are not guaranteed exclusive access to the facility during this time.
