The Department of Teacher Education offers post-baccalaureate and graduate programs to prepare teachers who are committed to improving school practices for California's diverse student populations and who can model such practices in their own classrooms.

Student Services

The CSSC provides a range of services to those pursuing credentials, including: advising regarding credential requirements in all programs, housing of student records, monitoring, verifying and making the official recommendation of your credential to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
