California Teaching Performance Assesment
Starting July 2008, Cal State East Bay will be using the California Teaching Performance Assessment (CalTPA) to meet the state requirement for a program-embedded teaching performance assessment. You will see these 4 CalTPA tasks in specific classes in the Multiple and Single Subject programs this year. For the implementation of the CalTPA requirements the University has partnered TaskStream as a service site to submit your work for the CalTPA. Taskstream is a web based system that allows us to score each Cal TPA task and provide an efficient methods of recording all steps of the Cal TPA. Candidates in the program will need purchase access to Taskstream please be advised the access license for Taskstream is based on a Semester system.

The documents listed below are versions of the TPA tasks from the California Teacher Commission for reference and practice only. Do no use these to submit your TPAs via TaskStream. The TaskStream system contains the correct form for submission under online forms.
