The California State University, East Bay International House (I-House) is a dynamic and diverse residential community for international and American students. The mission of International House is to bring together students from countries around the world to have them live and learn together in a challenging and supportive residential community. Nestled within the Hayward Hills, I-House is located on the CSUEB campus. Residents enjoy a safe, apartment-style accommodation with access to great amenities such as a computer lab, fitness facility and many social/cultural activities.
Pioneer Heights (link opens in new window)
Space reservations for the Cal State East Bay's on-campus student apartments, Pioneer Heights, are based upon receipt of the housing license and initial payment, are given on a first-come, first-served basis. All the apartments are fully furnished two-bedroom apartments, each of which four people share including a full sized kitchen with major appliances, dining area, living room, bathroom, and storage. The apartment complex also has a laundry and a study room, community room with a TV, a billiards table, a table tennis table, and a kitchen. Housing license agreements are based upon the academic calendar year only, September-June. Summer students wishing to live on campus will be issued a summer license agreement and room assignment. Payments may be made in installments. Additional information regarding housing costs, installment plans and financial aid is provided in the student housing license agreement packet.
