California State University, East Bay is a member of the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) (link opens in new window) consortium. ISEP is a nonprofit membership organization of 245 institutions of higher education located throughout the United States and in more than 35 countries. ISEP members are accredited and the consortium agreement allows Cal State East Bay students to receive resident credit while studying abroad at a partner university. Academic year, semester and summer programs in a variety of subjects are available depending on the location. Many English language instruction sites available. A 2.75 GPA is required for most programs.
ISEP is designed so that students exchanged throughout the ISEP network pay all of their fees, including room and board, to their home institution and take up a place at a host institution, with no money changing hands (except for ISEP- Direct). Application forms are available on the ISEP website, and must be submitted to the Center for International Education.
CSUEB ISEP Application Deadlines:
- January 15 for Fall
- August 15 for Spring
- April 15 for Summer
