Philip Ringler, Curator
Philip is an artist, educator, and curator and has worked at the University Art Gallery since 2002. He has an MFA in photography from John F. Kennedy University’s Arts and Consciousness program and a BFA in photography from CSUEB. Ringler inherited the legacy of CSUEB’s gallery from his friend, mentor and former Gallery Director, Lanier Graham. He is honored to continue the tradition of assisting students, educating visitors, and putting on high quality art exhibitions. Melanie Sharr: Assistant Curator
Melanie is an artist and has worked at the University Art Gallery since 2009. She has a BFA from CSUEB in painting and is currently in the MFA program at SJSU. Her fine art work can be viewed here:

Anne Hartwell: Assistant Curator
Anne is an artist and designer. She helps facilitate exhibitions and opening receptions. She graduated Magna cum laude from CSUEB in 2012 with a B.A. in Graphic Design and Studio Arts. She also holds an A.A. in Visual Communications and an A.A. in Business from Las Positas Community College. Her fine art work can be viewed here:
