Class Schedule

The anthropology department has generated a two-year planning schedule.  This quarter-by-quarter plan shows the courses the department intends to offer, in the planned sequence.  We provide it here to help students plan their long-term scheduling.

IMPORTANT: We may not be able to offer all classes as shown in this planning schedule, depending on faculty and instructor availability.  Use this schedule as a framework for your plans, but check with the actual published class schedules ( https://my.csueastbay.edu ) for each quarter to confirm that courses listed in this planning schedule are actually offered.  This information is neither a contract nor a promise -- it is provided merely to help you to make tentative scheduling plans.  This is especially true during these times of extremely constrained resources!

If you are majoring in anthropology, please note that some required classes are offered infrequently.  Required classes will be offered at least every 2 years, but you must keep the class schedule in mind as you navigate through the major to ensure that you aren't missing essential classes when you are nearing graduation.  Please consult with a member of the anthropology faculty to help you plan your progression through the major.

NOTE: As of February 2013: This page is under construction. Please use this list to DRAFT a plan for your course progression. Consult with an advisor in the department for confirmation of class offerings.
