The performance area of emphasis is designed to prepare the student as a professional performer or teacher through the advancement of instrumental or vocal skills and the study of selected historical, stylistic, and theoretical courses. Performance of a Graduate Recital is a major goal of this program. An audition is required before a student is accepted into this area of emphasis.
