Dr. Myintoo has been a faculty member since 1989, teaching both Spanish and French courses. She served as Department Chair from 1996 to 1999. She has written and presented numerous papers on such diverse topics as 18th-century French literature, feminist issues in French and Spanish literatures, applied linguistics and teaching methods, and Spanish contemporary studies and women writers. She has participated in many national and international academic and professional conferences, and has served on outreach programs to various local community colleges that feed into CSUEB. She is also a court interpreter licensed by the State of California.
