I am presently focusing on a survey of second generation Afghan Americans looking at acculturation practices, particularly focusing on stressors related to intergenerational conflict over forming marriages and intimate relationships. I am also working to develop a telephone survey research center on campus with the hope of doing more research on links between politics and sports and am excited about being part of the new Center for Sports and Social Justice on campus.
