Hello everyone,

I am the Chair of the Department of Statistics and Biostatisitcs.  We offer degree programs in the following:

MS degree in Statistics, with options in Applied Statistics, Computational Statistics, Mathematical Statisitcs, and Actuarial Science

MS degree in Biostatistics, this program has been recognized as a Profession Science Master (PSM)

BS degree in Statistics

Minor in Statistics

Post-bac Certificates in Applied Statisitcs and Theoretical Statistics

The faculty all try to make considerable use of Statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, Minitab, Excel, and R.

My professional interests in Statistics include:

Time Series Analysis, Bayesian Statistics, Computational Statistics, Applied Probability, Statistics Education

Service

I have served on many committees in the university during my time here at CSUEB.  I am on all Departmental committees as Chair.  I have served on the College Computer Advisory Committee.  I have served on CAPR, the Library Advisory Committee, COBRA, and UPABC.
