President's Message

Welcome to California State University, East Bay. Our mission is to provide you with an academically rich, multicultural learning experience that will prepare you not only to realize your goals and pursue meaningful lifework, but also to be a socially responsible contributor to your community — locally and globally.

Although you are joining the University family at a challenging time for our nation and for public higher education, earning a college degree is more crucial than ever for success in today’s fast changing world.
