What We Do

*Welcome to the 2014-15 school year! The Center for Community Engagement welcomes Andrea Wells to our team as our Community Partnerships Coordinator. Andrea joined the CCE in May. Prior to joining our team Andrea coordinated community service opportunities for students in Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University and completed her master's degree in higher and post-secondary education. Her work is particularly focused on:
- facilitating community engagement partnerships
- supporting faculty and developing service learning courses
- rolling out and maintaining csuebserves our web application for managing student placements and community partnerships
- advising the community engagement internship portion of Pioneers for Change
*In partnership with the CSU Office of the Chancellor's Center for Community Engagement, we are working on a new web application for managing student placements and community partnerships -- CalStateS4 (Supporting Students & Service Sites). Currently, students can view all our partner organizations and complete student waivers. Plus, new community organizations begin the partnership process here...CalStateS4
*WE'RE HIRING STUDENT LEADERS FOR PIONEERS FOR CHANGE! The Pioneers for Change service learning leadership program offers students paid leadership training to be advocates for and leaders of community engagement activities on and off campus.
