Faculty Mentoring Program
The Faculty Mentoring Program pairs untenured faculty members with experienced faculty from other departments or colleges. The mentoring relationship remains undocumented and confidential. The program’s goal is to provide opportunities for new faculty to meet colleagues in other disciplines with whom they can discuss shared interests as well as concerns about their teaching and professional lives in an informal setting. The mentoring program is also an opportunity to establish social relationships outside of the home department that foster collegiality across disciplines. The mentor and mentee determine the frequency of meetings.
