Create Course Sections

Use this service to request the creation of an additional course section. This is useful for creating sections for master courses and for sections not automatically created via the quarterly automatic course creation process. This service is normally only requested if a master course shell is desired or if the course section is for a non-credit courses that has not been automatically created.

Note: Master course shells allow faculty to maintain course content and develop/edit their courses in a private shell that is always available to them and not subject to the Blackboard quarterly course availability cycle. Typically the faculty member copies the master course shell into the active course shell each quarter when the new quarter shell becomes available
