PLUS (Peer Led Undergraduate Study) GROUPS

PLUS GROUPS are student led study sessions that are available for some undergraduate lecture courses.  The Plus Leaders hold group study sessions at various times each week to help students keep up with the lecture topics and also help them to prepare for exams and assignments.  PLUS Leaders usually have successfully completed the course(s) and most Plus Leaders also currently attend their respective lectures. They regularly meet with the course instructors to help align the PLUS sessions with each week's lecture and may help to develop study guides and resources to assist students.  PLUS Leaders also assist students with developing deeper conceptual understanding of the discipline and identifying effective study strategies.  Only CSUEB students enrolled in the course pertaining to a Plus session may attend sessions.
