PLUS (Peer Led Undergraduate Study) GROUPS

PLUS GROUPS are student led study sessions that are available for some undergraduate lecture courses.  The hour long sessions meet at various times each week and help students keep up with the lecture topics and also help prepare for exams and assignments.  Each PLUS session is facilitated by a PLUS Leader who has previously successfully completed the course and who regularly meets with the course instructors to help align the PLUS sessions with each week's lecture and to help develop study guides and resources to assist students.  PLUS Leaders also help students develop deeper conceptual understanding of the discipline and identify effective study strategies.  Enrolled students may attend any of the PLUS sessions available for your course that best fits with your schedule. Contact:  June Barber at 510 / 885-4511 or SCAA Reception:  510 / 885-3674.
