Tutoring at the CSUEB Concord Campus

During the fall, winter, and spring quarters, Concord students are encouraged to make an appointment in advance. To make an appointment, students may contact Mark Rhoades, the writing tutor, directly at mark.rhoades@csueastbay.edu or by calling 925-602-8676.

Students may also use the tutoring services at the SCAA on the Hayward campus or the online tutoring service provided by the SCAA OWL (not available summer quarter) and eTutoring.

TUTORING SERVICES CAN INCLUDE:

Writing and math skills development and review from knowledgeable and accessible tutors
Individual or small group tutoring
Services for both graduate and undergraduate students
Assistance with a wide variety of assignments, homework, and test preparation
Workshops

Tutoring is available on either a drop-in or appointment basis. You may schedule a one-time appointment if you have a specific question or schedule a recurring, weekly tutoring session. Please ask the Librarian or the tutor if you are interested in scheduling appointments.
