Tutoring at the CSUEB Concord Campus
Writing tutoring is available in the Concord Library, Monday-Thursday from 1pm until 6pm.
Students are encouraged to make an appointment in advance. To make an appointment, students may contact Mark Rhoades, the writing tutor, directly at mark.rhoades@csueastbay.edu or by calling 925-602-8676.
Students may also use the tutoring services at the SCAA on the Hayward campus or the online tutoring service provided by the SCAA OWL and eTutoring.
TUTORING SERVICES CAN INCLUDE:
- Writing and math skills development and review from knowledgeable and accessible tutors
- Individual or small group tutoring
- Services for both graduate and undergraduate students
- Assistance with a wide variety of assignments, homework, and test preparation
- Workshops
Tutoring is available on either a drop-in or appointment basis. You may schedule a one-time appointment if you have a specific question or schedule a recurring, weekly tutoring session. Please ask the Librarian or the tutor if you are interested in scheduling appointments.
