CSUEB hosting Cal Pac Basketball Tourney

The 2009 Cal Pac men's and women's basketball tournament opened earlier this week with a new format. First and second round games took place at the higher seeds and the semifinals and championship are set for Cal State East Bay on Friday and Saturday.

The host CSUEB Pioneers are the No. 1 seed on the men's side while defending champion Holy Names has secured the top spot for the women.
