Campus dining summer hours and closures
- June 16, 2009
Cal State East Bay’s Hayward campus dining locations, including the Pioneer Heights Dining Commons, are closed the week of June 15 and will reopen Monday, June 22 with new summer hours.
During this break, however, Java City will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday and the C-Store will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both locations are in the Old University Union.
The dining commons will be open every day during the summer quarter, but most other locations will be closed on weekends. The retail outlets will also be closed for the 4th of July and Labor Day holidays.
Debbie Meyer, the retail food service director for Aramark, said that the schedules are subject to change based on business. She added that Aramark is planning upgrades to some dining facilities for the summer, which may affect operating hours.
The full schedule of summer hours is available on the Dining Services site.
