Cal State East Bay Takes Eighth at Desert Twilight Invite

MESA, Ariz. - The Pioneer men's cross country team placed eighth in the team standings of the Desert Twilight XC Festival hosted by Arizona State on October 2. The Pioneers were led by MICHAEL LUCERO who finished in 36th place. Lucero covered the 3-mile run in 16:20.7. ANDREW WELCH finished 38th with a time of 16:35.5. FRANCISCO PULIDO (16:55.6), JOE CASTRO (16:57.6), and ERIK RODRIGUEZ (16:58.1) finished 42nd, 43rd, and 44th respectively.
