Pioneers Finish Fifth at Desert Twilight Festival

MESA, Ariz. - The Pioneer women's cross country team finished fifth in the Desert Twilight XC Festival hosted by Arizona State on October 2. NANCY VELAZQUEZ led all CSUEB runners with a 17th place finish. Velazquez covered the 3-mile run in 18:35.0. CLARIVEL VEGA placed 20th with a time of 19:00.2. GABRIELLA CRUZ was timed in 19:18.6 to finish in 23rd place. KELLY GUERRERO finished in 26th place with a clocking of 19:33.1.
