CSUEB hosts annual Veterans Welcome Reception Nov. 10

Students, faculty and staff – especially military veterans – are invited to attend Cal State East Bay’s 4th annual Veterans Welcome Reception and Informational Presentation at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10 in Multipurpose Room B of the New University Union on the Hayward Campus, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd.
“We urge everyone to come to welcome CSUEB’s new and continuing veteran students back to campus,” said Deborah Hansana, the university’s veterans affairs coordinator.
Attendees will be able to learn about veteran benefits and services as well as Cal State East Bay’s student support services, while meeting current and former members of the military attending classes at the university.
Hansana said that RSVPs are appreciated and should be made by noon on Nov. 3 via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (510) 885-2612.
