After leading Cal State East Bay to its first two-win week this season, Sarah Finlay collected Wilson/CCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors as announced by the conference office on Monday, Feb. 14. The freshman guard finished the week with 35 points, 10 rebounds and eights assists and guided the Pioneers (4-18, 4-14 CCAA) to a pair of wins over Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus.

In Thursday's 69-47 victory over Chico State, the Reno, Nev., native scored 15 points on 5-7 shooting, while pulling down four rebounds and dishing out a season-high six assists. Finlay helped the Pioneers post season highs in scoring, field-goal percentage (46.3%) and 3-point shooting percentage (42.9%).
