ARCATA -- The Lady Jacks were unable to put back-to-back wins together.

Humboldt State was swept by California Collegiate Athletic Association foe Cal State East Bay 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-15) on Saturday night.

Oceana Matsubu paced HSU with 11 kills, 13 points and six kills, however, the Pioneers finished with 45 total kills to the Jacks' 25.

Nicole Boyle was the standout Pioneer with nin ekills, 13 points, four service aces and 10 digs.

With the win, East Bay now sports a 7-8 CCAA record and 12-9 overall mark.

Humboldt, on the other hand, is 4-12 in conference and 7-13 overall.

The Jacks will be on the road for the next two weekends before the Jacks finish the season back at home on November 11 and 12.
