Professor's book is a hit with Italian golfers

While it’s not The New York Review of Books, Golfonomics (World Scientific Publishing Company 2004) by Economics Professor Stephen Shmanske was recently featured in an Italian golf blog, HCP34- Golf & Web. The blogger indicated that Golfonomics deserves to have a wider distribution, especially in Italy.  She found the information still relevant despite being published in 2004.

Golfonomics combines two of Shmanske’s passions: golf and economics. He develops two themes — the use of economics to explore institutional aspects of the business side of golf and the use of golf statistics to shed light on several vexing issues in economics.
