CSUEB Assistant Professor of Anthropology Henry Gilbert and David DeGusta, research paleontologist at the Paleoanthropology Institute, will discuss, “How did evolution shape human behavior,” on Nov 7 at Wonderfest - a Bay Area Festival of Science. The 90-minute presentation begins at 1:30pm and will be divided into 3 equal segments: 30 minutes of introductory background remarks, 30 minutes of “debate,” and then 30 minutes of questions from the audience. Wonderfest is unique in that pairs of articulate and accomplished researchers discuss and debate compelling questions at the edge of scientific understanding

Wonderfest is a series of free public science discussions between world-class researchers. No registration is required. All events are free. Wonderfest aspires to stimulate curiosity, promote careful reasoning, challenge unexamined beliefs, and encourage life-long learning.
