CSUEB alumni appear tonight on "Shedding for the Wedding"

Adam Frequez, BA, liberal studies ('06) and Dawn Pino, BA, speech communication ('04), are going to be contestants on "Shedding for the Wedding"- a new reality show airing tonight on the CW network. The show follows several engaged couples competing to win the wedding of their dreams by losing the most weight through rigorous workout and diet plans spanning a three month period. Fresquez and Pino didn't audition for "Shedding for the Wedding." The show found them on YouTube, where they posted a video of Fresquez's proposal at Disneyland. Producers contacted them and requested an interview, and Pino said their wait to see if they made the show was worthwhile, after they got the good news they would be competing.

The Hayward couple is very excited to make a positive change in their lifestyle. "This reality show gave me and my fiance the chance to turn our lives around at such a crucial point," said Pino. Watch these CSUEB grads tonight at 9:00pm on the CW.
