Hear the music of Rebecca Roudman, ’99, and Jason Eckl, ’01, on the new CD, “Gypsy Cello,” at Rebecca Roudman

Or, you can catch them this Sunday (June 26) at Stern Grove, in San Francisco, with the Jazz Mafia. The performance begins at 2 p.m.

Roudman graduated with a BA in music as a cello major and is a member of the Oakland East Bay Symphony. Eckl earned a BA as a flute major plus a music teaching credential the following year. They now teach in Navato.

Roudmanis a world-traveling performer who explores every type of music, from shredding rock to classical. On this album, backed by a band that includes Eckl, she takes a new look at classic gypsy songs.
