Cal State East Bay men's golfer Chris Herzog was named as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon Division II All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). He joins just five other golfers from the CCAA on the All-America Scholar Team, including two student-athletes each from Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus.

In addition to his 74.48 season scoring average, the CSUEB junior also found success in the classroom, earning a 3.86 grade point average in economics to garner CCAA All-Academic honors. In addition, Herzog was honored as the men's golf team's Scholar-Athlete Award winner at the annual Pioneer student-athlete banquet.

Way to go, Chris!
