The Cal State East Bay Pioneer Basketball Chipotle 1k Race to 1,000 is back and scheduled for January 11 at 5:30 pm. Pioneer men's and women's basketball teams will host the Humboldt State Lumber Jacks and want CSUEB fans to 'jam the gym.'

“We are looking to break our CCAA home game attendance record of 1,073 fans,” said Assistant Athletics Marketing Director Dawn Ellerbe. “If we exceed that number, everyone in attendance will get a buy one get one free Chipotle burrito voucher!”

Pioneer women tip off at 5:30 pm followed by the men at 7 pm. In addition to possible free Chipotle burritos, game fans may also win prizes like Cal State East Bay t-shirts, free food and more. “Bring a friend, tell a friend and come to the game,” added Ellerbe.
