Penny Peak to lead CSUEB alumni relations

Penny Peak has been named the new director of alumni relations and programs for Cal State East Bay. Peak will be responsible for planning and managing a comprehensive alumni program, as well as, leading development efforts for University-wide programs such as the “Save Our Students” scholarship fund, which she had created with the inspiration and support of alumni donors.

Since 2010, Peak served as CSUEB's director of development for the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences, raising private support for the college and reconnecting alumni with the campus. She was also involved in organizing several events for alumni, including the University’s first Seattle alumni event in September.In addition to fundraising experience at Mills College and UC Berkeley, Penny has a background in public relations and communications.

CSUEB's previous Alumni Relations Director Kate Shaheed will step into a new role as CSUEB's director of the annual fund and giving programs.
