Cal State East Bay Athletics will host a "Youth Day" on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Pioneer baseball and softball fields for East Bay youth.
Baseball and softball teams from the East Bay area are invited to attend as Pioneer baseball takes on Oregon Tech at 11 a.m., followed by a softball doubleheader against Dominican starting at noon.
Admission is free -- families are welcome and players are encouraged to wear their uniforms. The youngsters will have a chance to meet the teams, enjoy an autograph session, and receive Pioneer prizes.
There will be a concession stand at the field complex selling items for $1, with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tours of the CSUEB campus will be also available from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the start of the baseball game.
