Want to make new friends and help CSUEB’s international students practice their English-language skills? Enjoy cookies and conversation with CSUEB’s international students on Wednesdays from 2-3 p.m. at the American Language Program’s “Cookie Hour” event. The event takes place each week in front of the ALP office on the Hayward Hills Campus.
CSUEB’s ALP offers a range of high-quality programs for students from all over the world, including diploma, certificate and graduate preparation programs. However, the majority of ALP students are part of the Intensive English Program, which gives participants conditional admission to the university on the condition that they raise their English proficiency to meet program standards.
