The McLoughlin Gallery, owned by Cal State East Bay alumna Joan McLoughlin, is currently presenting in Miami for CONTEXT Art Miami— an international contemporary and modern art fair dedicated to the development and reinforcement of emerging and mid-career artists. The event started Dec. 2 and will run through Dec. 9.

McLoughlin, who graduated from CSUEB's Certificate in Art Museum and Gallery Studies in 2011, will be showing selected art pieces from her gallery at the fair. Featured artwork includes paintings by Christopher Martin, Jeff Muhs and John Waguespack, contemporary mixed media works by Jerome Lucaniand Guillermo Bert as well as sculptures by David Middlebrook, Arnix Wilnoudt and Hal Buckner.

CONTEXT is the sister fair to Art Miami, which is one of the most well-known annual contemporary art events in the United States. Last year, the combined exhibition space of CONTEXT and Art Miami attracted more than 72,500 collectors, curators, museum professionals and art enthusiasts.
