President Qayoumi Invites You to al Fresco Oct. 1
- September 23, 2008
Dear Colleagues,
Mark your calendars for California State University, East Bay's annual al Fresco Welcome Back Fall Festival. This year, our theme is Pioneer Pride celebrating our University's strong commitment to our campus community. Remember also to wear our school colors - red and black!
The University's annual al Fresco event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Pioneer Amphitheatre. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend and enjoy lunch provided by the University along with live entertainment sponsored by Associated Students, Inc.
The focus of this event is to provide an opportunity for students to learn about the tremendous variety of enriching activities, programs, and services available to them at Cal State East Bay. More than 100 campus departments and programs, as well as student clubs and organizations, will have information tables and displays at al Fresco. This very popular tradition is known for bringing an air of excitement to the campus, helping to create and renew friendships and connections that develop and promote the vibrant university village at Cal State East Bay. Please take the time to announce al Fresco in your classes and at staff and department meetings.
I look forward to having you join me at our annual Cal State East Bay al Fresco Festival - Celebrating 50 Years of Pioneer Pride.
Sincerely yours,
Mo Qayoumi
President
