Stone Soul Picnic at CSUEB this Monday

The Pioneer Amphitheatre at California State University, East Bay will kickoff the summer music scene at the Hayward campus with KBLX's 10th Annual Stone Soul Picnic on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.

The lineup for the daylong music festival will include Isaac Hayes, The Dells, The Whispers, and Tower of Power. Tickets are now on sale at Tickets.com and all Tickets.com retail outlets.

The Pioneer Amphitheatre, at 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd. in Hayward has a capacity of more than 7,000 spectators and the Stone Soul Picnic is always sold out.

On Memorial Day the gaes will open at 10 a.m. and the show will run from noon to 6 p.m. Tickets are $81.50 for reserved seating and $56 for general admission. Seating for the disabled is available. The cost of parking is included in the ticket price.

Cal State East Bay has ample parking and service from the Hayward BART station by AC Transit Line 92. No picnic coolers will be permitted, but food and drink will be available in the outdoor amphitheatre.
