Scholarship winners to be honored

The Black Faculty and Staff Association will be honoring 10 student scholarship winners at its annual fund-raising dinner on March 2. EAch student will receive $1,000.

The event, to be held in the new University Union at 5 p.m., features the scholarship presentations, a dinner of authentic soul food and performances. Association members will entertain with a spoof of the popular TV reality show, "Dancing With the Stars."

The dinner is the last in a series of outreach efforts, lectures and an education summit honoring Black History Month at Cal State East Bay.

Tickets are $40 general admission and $35 for students with I.D.
