Chong S.K. Lee (Ph.D. 1986, University of Texas at Austin) is chair and professor in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Her research interests are customer segmentation, relationship marketing, promotional effectiveness, direct and interactive marketing, and e-commerce marketing strategies. She has taught marketing in the Cal State East Bay executive MBA program in Vienna and the MBA program in Hong Kong.

Norman Smothers (Ph.D. 1981, UC Berkeley) is a professor in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He specializes in technology entrepreneurship and strategy and has more than 15 years of experience working with early-stage high tech businesses. He is in demand as a technology strategy consultant, co-founded the software integration company Aigis Systems Inc. and has a graduate degree in electrical engineering.
